This week our staff spent some time outside deepening their knowledge and understanding of the native plants on our grounds.

We are excited to announce the collaboration between the Lelooska Foundation and Cultural Center, the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens and the Woodland Historical Museum Society, for a History and Heritage Series in our area.

The first portion of the series will be four days of oral histories with different speakers, which the Woodland Historical Museum Society will be filming, at the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens. This will be in the barn, so seating is limited at the Lilac Gardens.

If you know of someone who would like to be part of our future oral history and speaker events, please message us.

I still have the photo of me in front of the longhouse when I was in 3rd grade in the 60’s. The presentation is something I’ll keep as a memory forever!
